adidas Bets the House on Las Vegas-Inspired Ozweego "Orchid Tint"
Featuring a neon pink upper and insole with poker chip graphics.
adidas Originals has presented a wide variety of takes on the revamped Ozweego this fall, and after a duo of Pusha T collaborations were recently unveiled, the silhouette has now surfaced in a new “Orchid Tint” colorway. Dressed completely in bright pink tones, these adidas shoes present a vivid look, and even feature some hidden Vegas-inspired detailing.
The layered upper combines a pink mesh base with embroidered Three Stripe midfoot graphics, a neoprene heel clip and a supple leather tongue. Tonal contrast is provided by a darker hue of pink on the pigskin suede heel pieces, mudguard and eyestays, the latter duo of which are surrounded by silver trim. A clear plastic tube then snakes through the upper and wraps around the heel, adding extra texture.
Although the shoe’s top half is unquestionably vibrant, the signature detail arrives on the insole, which features a duo of poker chips. Tied in with the bright neons on the upper, this could mean that the shoe’s overall design draws from the vivid sights, sounds and activities of Las Vegas nightlife. More pink arrives on the adiPRENE midsole and two-tone outsole to complete the look.
