After debuting an all-new Dunk Low collaboration at Paris Fashion Week, COMME des GARÇONS and Nike have now announced a new joint women’s exclusive release. The latest collaboration from the longstanding partners was originally leaked in January and sees Rei Kawakubo‘s label take on the Nike Outburst sneaker for a velcro-fastened update.
The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Outburst comes dressed in a triple black colorway, with a standout detail being the detachable CdG chain that is similar to the one found on the recent Shox TL collaboration. Elsewhere, the sneaker features COMME des GARÇONS branding on the footbed and embroidered on the heel.
Take a look at the sneaker in the gallery above. Priced at £220 GBP (approximately $270 USD), the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Outburst is available from Dover Street Market London and its web store now as part of its series of launches to coincide with Frieze. These launches will also include the release of Kiko Kostadinov’s Claude Nori collaboration, Barbara Kruger’s work with Artek and the Clash fragrance from COMME des GARÇONS.
