The Basement & Nike Ready the Air Max 90 "London"
Inspired by the smokey city.
After getting a preview at Nike and The Basement‘s Air Max 90 “City Series” late last month, fans now have a closer look at the forthcoming “London” iteration.
As part of The Basement‘s three-piece Nike Air Max 90 collaboration, this model pays homage to smokey London, the city the fevered nightclub calls home. Crafted from various premium materials dressed in five different shades of grey, the tonal colorway embodies the city’s creative power and seemingly limitless potential. Additionally the London-inspired silhouette comes with four interchangeable velcro Swooshes offered up in yellow 3M, dark grey corduroy, white patent, and “Pearlescent.”
The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 “London” will release Saturday, October 19 on Nike’s SNKRS app and sneakersnstuff.com. A donation from the project will be made to Youth Futures, an organization providing creative opportunities to young Londoners. The UK-dedicated pack also included models inspired by the cities of Glasgow and Manchester.
