Lil Tjay Drops New Album 'True 2 Myself'
Featuring guest verses from the likes of Lil Baby, Lil Durk & Lil Wayne.
Hip-hop newcomer Lil Tjay has shared his newest album, True 2 Myself. Clocking in at almost one hour, the 17-track project includes the entirety of his F.N EP and features guest verses from Rileyy Lanez on “Post To Be,” Jay Critch on “Ruthless,” Lil Baby on “Decline,” Lil Durk on the “Brothers” remix and Lil Wayne on the “Leaked” remix.
To celebrate the release, the 18-year-old Bronx sensation also dropped a short documentary detailing the album’s creation. The nine-minute visual explores the filming of the “F.N” music video, Tjay’s creative decisions for the record and his time in the studio. “I would say staying true to yourself is just like always making what decision you feel is best for you,” he explains of the project title. “Honestly, I felt like that’s why the album is named True 2 Myself, because I’m always going to put my opinion first if I really feel like that’s right.”
