HAVEN's FW19 Editorial Spotlights Warm Layers and Patchwork Designs
Featuring Engineered Garments, Junya Watanabe MAN, visvim and more.
HAVEN has returned with its latest FW19 editorial, following up its previous spotlight on Arc’Teryx Veilance with a series of warm layers and patchwork designs. The seasonal highlight showcases distinctive pieces from Engineered Garments, Junya Watanabe MAN, visvim, Ten C and more.
Spanning textiles like olive-toned velvet, thick twill, washed corduroy and combed wool, the editorial curates a range of textured layers in the form of knit sweaters, flight jackets, blazers, patchwork denim and overalls. Pieces like the Junya Watanabe MAN x Levi’s 503 Cotton Multi Fabric Denim Indigo and Engineered Garments Cotton 11W Corduroy Loiter Jacket present an elevated take on classic American silhouettes refined by Japanese designs. Sneakers like the Engineered Garments x New Balance 990v5 have also been included in the mix.
One noteworthy piece is the Engineered Garments Wool Uniform Serge Cover Vest, coming in dark navy wool. The silhouette sees a sharp dip at the collars, followed by a large pocket below. Buttoned openings at the shoulder and side complement its pullover build, while its smooth quilted satin lining adds comfort. Other garments like Ten C’s Shearling Liner, visvim’s Sanjuro Benny Jacket or the Dr. Martens x nanamica Camberwell round up the directional looks.
