Denzel Curry Imagines Himself as a Rock Vocalist in Short For "whatIFiwasinarockgroup?"
“Key word: if.”
Denzel Curry has shared a snippet of a new track entitled “whatIFiwasinarockgroup?” on YouTube. Clocking in at only one minute and six seconds, the incomplete song still utilizes an FNZ-produced hip-hop beat but is heavily contrasted by the rapper’s gritty, screamo-like vocals.
“Key word: if,” Curry wrote below the video. “Thanks for supporting all these years. Just hit a million subscribers on YouTube!”
The Florida-born rapper recently collaborated with English rapper slowthai for “Psycho” and debuted new music on the Netflix anime Carole & Tuesday. His latest solo release dates back to May 2019 with the 12-track album ZUU.
