UPDATE (October 19, 2019): Nike has revealed that it will launch the Air Force 1 made in collaboration with Cactus Plante Flea Market on October 21, followed by a six-piece CPFM x Nike apparel collection on October 28. The Nike AF1 CPFM By You will take inspiration from the Air More Uptempo silhouette, with bold graphic lettering on the shoe.
Shoppers will be able to customize their AF1 CPFM by choosing either a nylon or leather tongue and selecting from seven different color reflective underlays for the lettering on the left and right shoe. Three different graphic lettering options will be available — “Flea,” “Sunshine” or “Air” on the left shoe, while the right shoe will simply maintain the word “Air” across all iterations.
The apparel collection meanwhile will include six pieces inspired by Cactus Plant Flea Market’s collection of archive Nike pieces. Stay tuned for more news on the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike launch.
ORIGINAL STORY (October 18, 2019): The ever-enigmatic Cactus Plant Flea Market has teased an array of collaborative Nike apparel via a new Instagram post. Encompassing a variety of sporty silhouettes, the capsule is anchored by CPFM’s latest Nike footwear collaboration.
Patchworked windbreakers, hockey tops, sweaters and track pants comprise the range, available in a slew of bold colors. Naturally, each item sports a wide array of stylized co-branding, including color-contrasted square Nike logos, turtle graphics, “just do it” slogans and “AIR SUNSHINE” verbiage inspired in shape by the Nike Air More Uptempo.
The graphics are executed utilizing a variety of techniques, including puffy print, screenprinting and oversized patches, lending a DIY feel to the offering. Inspired by school yearbooks, the lookbook teaser also shows models wearing the Nike Air Force 1 in black or white, some of which are collaborative CPFM models that boast three-dimensional “AIR SUNSHINE” text on either side of the shoe.
Expect more news about Cactus Plant Flea Market’s latest Nike collaboration to roll out shortly.
