A$AP Ferg & MadeinTYO Head to the Studio for New "WAM" Visual
A highlight of Ferg’s ‘Floor Seats’ EP.
Directly following his impressive Hong Kong debut, A$AP Ferg is reconnecting with close collaborator MadeinTYO for a new music video in support of one of their recent records. Specifically, the two stars are revisiting their Dylan Skyler- and Tweek Tune-produced Floor Seats collaboration “WAM.” Today’s vignette for “WAM” gives viewers an up-close-and-personal look at a studio session with Ferg, MadeinTYO and Murda Beatz, complete with the former two artists spitting their bars as the camera bounces around their recording space.
“I’ve been blessed with a gift of creating through different mediums … I’m an all-around artist,” A$AP Ferg recently shared with Billboard. “I used to perform at school for talent shows and shit like that and rap, but I went to Art and Design for fashion and fine arts. That’s just natural. I can’t help it if I know how to dress nice and brands want to collab with me for different things or make me the face of Tiffany’s or fly me out to Valentino’s show. That’s just the swag, but I don’t think that should be taking away from the music.”
“We have that calm energy. Also, we’re all really like brothers,” Ferg added, opening up about his connection wirh his “WAM” collaborator. “It’s funny, because Sean and TYO have a brother relationship without me, but we’re all brothers. We’re not problematic people. We’re stylish. We have all of that shit in common. MadeInTYO out here right now, he was running around with me yesterday. We listened to music and was creating together.”
