Cardi B to Continue Superstardom Rise with New Album This Year
The Bronx native is looking to double-down on 2018’s success.

After a year in which she rose to superstardom, Cardi B is looking to keep the momentum going. The candid artist recently shared on Instagram Live that she’s aiming to drop a brand new album this year, following 2018’s hit LP Invasion of Privacy. Although she hinted the next release may fall in line with the anniversary of her debut, she didn’t share a concrete release date.
This announcement comes after Cardi dropped the NSFW “Money” music video, along with the preview of a new cut, potentially dubbed “Cardi Don’t Need More Press.” Stay tuned for further developments around Cardi B’s next album.
In the meantime, read up on why she’s refusing to perform at this year’s Super Bowl.
