Bohan Phoenix Brings You Into His World for "YMF" Video
The video is directed by Bohan himself.
Bohan Phoenix drops the video for “YMF,” a W.Y. Huang-produced new single that starts off his 2019 with great momentum. The video is directed by Bohan himself and the song tackles the current landscape of Asian Hip-Hop.
“I just wanted to comment on that,” Bohan adds, “It’s the message being sent out to millions of Asian kids who aspire to have someone to look up to.” Bohan confronts his own insecurities while reacting bluntly in disgust at the violent exaggerations and racially insensitivity of some fellow Asian artists, who he hints as in the second verse.
“YMF” follows up Bohan’s Jachary-produced single “IUNNO.” Most recently, Bohan Phoenix released Overseas, a seven-track EP that contains guest features from Higher Brothers’ Masiwei plus production from Ryan Hemsworth, YLLIS, Harikiri, Mike Gao and Howie Lee.
