Netflix's 'Black Mirror: Bandersnatch' Is Proving Difficult to Pirate
The multiple choices are putting uploaders in a bind.

With the release and subsequent praise of Netflix’s Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, many who don’t have the streaming service are looking to pirate the choose-your-own-adventure film. However, the non-linear movie is proving difficult for pirates to post.
According to a description for the movie on torrenting site Pirate Bay, they explained their cut of the film had “the default 68 choices Netflix have defined as the default ‘linear’ timeline” out of “the 250 available decision events.” Another approached the film by adding all footage, with a 5 hour and 12-minute runtime as a result.
Numerous threads on Reddit have questioned workarounds for torrenting Bandersnatch, with many suggesting some software that allows users to piece together a fragmented video into one must exist. There were early rumors that Netflix released the benefits of non-linear programming, not only as a way to increase fan engagement and data collecting, but to also combat against pirates.
