Nike's Zoom Rookie Joins Gets a "Bred" Colorway Release
A follow-up to its “Glow in the Dark” drop.
Towards the middle of last month, we shared news of the surprising return of Nike’s Zoom Rookie model. Shortly after the launch of its “Glow in the Dark” iteration, the Swoosh welcomes yet another color choice in “University Red/White-Black.” Its foamposite sections are done in black to complement the smooth university red nubuck upper and matching mesh tongue. Penny Hardaway’s “1 Cent” logo makes its way back to the tongue in addition to the sneaker’s “Flight” logo which is added to each heel tab. Lastly, a small Nike Swoosh makes its way onto the toebox to finish things off in white.
The Nike Zoom Rookie “University Red/White-Black” is currently available at Nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers for $210 USD. Fans of the Swoosh’s hoops models may also consider the forthcoming Nike Zoom LeBron 3 “SuperBron” release scheduled for this month.
