Timberland Upgrades Heritage With New Mixed-Media Gaiter Boots
Classic style, contemporary design.
Timberland‘s blue collar heritage informs a bevy of the footwear company’s designs, including the iconic 6” Boot, with its waterproof nubuck upper and signature rubber lug outsole. For Fall/Winter 2018, Timberland has remastered a cousin of their trademark workboot, the Gaiter, a farming and military favorite.
The new Gaiter boot’s design features a tall lightweight canvas upper, which can be worn up or folded over in accordance with the wearer’s whims. An attached buckle allows for a customizable fit, granting the ability to taper the shaft snugly around the ankle. Initial colorways include familiar Wheat nubuck and understated black, which boast Grape Leaf- and black-toned canvas shafts, respectively.
The boots are available now at Timberland’s website for $150 USD.
