One Piece Rejoins AAPE BY A BATHING APE for Camouflage Pirate Gear
Starring Luffy, Chopper and the rest of the Straw Hats.
After AAPE issued collaborative One Piece gear in 2016, BAPE tapped Eiichiro Oda’s hit property for another joint release the following year. Now, AAPE and One Piece have reunited for a third collection, encompassing a variety of graphic tees and hoodies.
Neutral monochrome tones form the basis upon which bold red graphics showcase classic BAPE imagery alongside Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirate squad. Camouflage and the Straw Hat Jolly Roger appear in various iterations, including a half-and-half hoodie and circular logo printed on the rear of several shirts. An Ape Head sports Luffy’s signature under-eye scar in one design, while ship doctor Tony Tony Chopper hugs the classic BAPE icon on another hoodie. Accompanying the layering pieces are a duo of bucket hats, emblazoned with a rubber Jolly Roger at the front.
