Canadian duo, DVBBS, release their new single “Listen Closely” featuring fellow Canadian rapper SAFE. Summer isn’t over when you play “Listen Closely” as DVBBS’ bouncy baseline and bright guitar leads blend well with SAFE’s understated vocals. The collaboration was a perfect pairing.

“This summer has been so legendary for us…we had to make a song that wrapped it up on a high note,” said DVBBS. “To really get the vibe we were looking for, we had to find the right vocals for the record. We’ve known SAFE for a few years now and it’s dope to finally work with another kid from Toronto.”

“This song was a concept that was representative of relationships we all endure at some point. It was really first person,” adds SAFE. “The guys and I were really excited about this collaboration and had fun making it, we literally wrote this in a matter of minutes.”

DVBBS will be embarking on a U.S. tour late this year. For now, bump “Listen Closely” below.
