TIDAL Is Sending 200,000 Pounds of Supplies to Puerto Rico
JAY-Z continues to aid those hit by Hurricane Maria.

JAY-Z is continuing his efforts to help with the ongoing relief efforts for Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico. In addition to his upcoming TIDAL charity event in Brooklyn, the streaming service has partnered with New York governor Andrew Cuomos and the Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort to send 200,000 pounds of supplies to Puerto Rico. Also joining the efforts are Fat Joe, Romeo Santos, and Angie Martinez. Fat Joe released a statement highlighting the importance of helping those in need.
“My heart goes out to every single individual that has suffered as a result of this hurricane. Watching from the sidelines has been heartbreaking – let’s fill that plane and help our brothers and sisters! Even the smallest contribution will go a long way.”
Visit TIDAL’s official website to donate to this project or purchase supplies for the residents of Puerto Rico. In addition to TIDAL, others have also done their part to help with all the recent hurricanes: Beyoncé recently jumped on “Mi Gente” with J Balvin for charity, Noah dropped a relief T-shirt, StockX partnered with Eminem and other celebrities for sneaker auctions, Lil B gave away free verses and Tesla extended the range of its cars to aid in helping people escape Hurricane Irma.
