Manchester City & Nike Celebrate Record-Breaking Season With 2018/19 Third Kit
Referencing the team’s home city.
With the 2018/19 Premier League season underway, Nike has revealed the third kit that will be worn by defending champions Manchester City. The new jersey references Manchester City’s past, with the stand-out feature being the bright orange sash that runs across the kit. Sashes have feature on previous City kits, including the 2010/11 jersey and a special commemorative design released to celebrate last year’s record-breaking season.
Another key feature of the dark purple jersey is a subtle print that is made up of an aerial view of industrial East Manchester, the area surrounding Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium. The new kit will make its first appearance in the near future, and is currently available from both the Manchester City and Nike web stores.
