This Balenciaga Patch-Pattern Anorak Is Now Available for Pre-Order
Part of the label’s Pre-Fall 2018 collection.
Seen previously in Balenciaga’s Pre-Fall 2018 and Fall/Winter 2018 lineups, respectively, Demna Gvasalia over the past few seasons has embraced imaginative layering techniques, stacking multiple items on top of one another to create an uber-bulky jacket or as seen above, stockpiling sections vertically onto one unified top. Part of the former collection is this ‘80s-inspired full-zip anorak.
The variety of colors and patterns obtained by mixing tartan prints with mini checks and solid tones injects an air of high-fashion flair onto this activewear-themed item, further extending Gvasalia’s vision of twisting mundane garments into expressive avant-garde options. Currently priced at $1,650 USD, this new Balenciaga anorak is available for pre-order through Bergdorf Goodman.
