Balenciaga Reveals Pre-Fall 2018 Collection With Lowkey Lookbook
The first menswear Pre collection from the Demna Gvasalia-helmed house.

Having released a brand new colorway of its divisive Triple S sneaker back at the start of the year, Demna Gvasalia‘s Balenciaga has now made its first major reveal of 2018. Unveiled today with a lookbook consisting of candid-feeling shots on the streets of Paris, the Pre-Fall 2018 collection also marks the French house’s first pre collection for men.
Taking cues and pushing on from the women’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection, the pre-fall offering highlights Gvasalia’s focus on conflating the ordinary and extraordinary, taking everyday, archetypal garments and molding them into something more than the usual sum of their parts.
Featuring the full array of garments, standout pieces include familiarly-oversized coats, checked shirting connected to T-shirts, denim, footwear that appears to feature another new Triple S colorway, and an accessories range including bags modeled on traditional shoppers.
