EXCLUSIVE: A Closer Look at the A$AP Rocky x Under Armour SRLo
Releasing in limited quantities.
Following his cover story for the Gentleman’s Journal, A$AP Rocky is now gearing up for the release of his collaborative Under Armour sneaker. The anticipated release falls under the Under Armour SRLo moniker and is dressed in all black. The sneaker receives inspiration from the 90s and its blooming skate culture as evident with the heavily padded tongue. Exploring the rest of the shoe you’ll find a lacing cage which sports large eyestays complemented by an AWGE hangtag that doubles as a keychain. Moving on towards the heel you’ll see a small Under Armour logo with Rocky’s TESTING insignia found on the outsole. The aforementioned eyestays welcome 3M reflective detailing to complete its bulky look and give it a small dose of flair.
Lastly, its packaging is louder than the sneaker itself thanks to vibrant yellow and contrasting black branding. The left and right sneaker are delivered in individual boxes bonded together by small velcro patches and a bungee cord. Inside you’ll find each sneaker to be housed in its own dust bag along with a sticker sheet reminiscent of masking tape. Each piece sees small design notes leaving it up to the wearer to add their own behind the scenes spin to their pair.

The collaboration will be extremely limited with only 500 pairs to be made available at a celebratory pop-up in Harlem on September 14.
