EXCLUSIVE: Here's How to Get A$AP Rocky's Under Armour Sneaker Tomorrow

Beyond a mysterious hint that the sneakers would drop in September, little else is known about the release date for A$AP Rocky‘s collaborative Under Armour sneaker. Now, we have an exclusive teaser video and news of the shoe’s initial drop.

AWGE will host a multi-story pop-up experience to commemorate the sneaker launch, complete with indoor skate park, food, a retail store and rave. Hosted in A$AP Rocky’s home neighborhood of Harlem, the ’90s-influenced event will offer guests plenty of exclusive merch and one-of-a-kind experiences, including a floor devoted entirely to “AWGE-mented” reality, offering both immersive video installations and Instagram-ready angles. Possibly the most lively floor, the rave at the top will pump out danceable tunes all night, synced with synchronized lighting and NASA-inspired LED images.

Meanwhile, the skate floor will boast a complete half pipe and dramatic neon lighting, while the basement offers photo booths, collaged artwork and wall projections. Arguably the biggest draw on the bottom level, however, will be the launch of the A$AP Rocky x Under Armour sneaker, which can be seen in a small selection of colorways in the video. All-black and black & blue colorways — both sporting 3M accents — will be available at the pop-up, with customers given the option to drop off their new purchases at the counter so as to explore the event unhindered.

The first 500 customers in line will be granted access, with a cycling queue allowing a limited number of guests in at a time, but be quick — only 250 pairs of each colorway of the $250 USD sneaker will be on hand,

This isn’t the only eagerly-anticipated Under Armour shoe to drop recently, as the sportswear brand launched the UA Forge 96 late last month.
