A Closer Look at Footpatrol & Highs and Lows' "Common Youth" Reebok Collab
Celebrating youth culture in Australia and England.
After the first images of Reebok’s three-way collaboration with London’s Footpatrol and Perth’s Highs and Lows, one half of the “Common Youth” pack now gets a closer look. The Reebok Classic Leather Clip comes wrapped in a premium white leather upper, with navy and burgundy detailing across the sneaker. The pops of color are a nod to the colors used on the British and Australian passports.
The sneaker collaboration is inspired by the experiences of Matt Thomas, founder and creative director of Highs and Lows. As a teenager, Thomas often travelled from Australia to England to visit family, and noticed the similarities between Australian and British youth culture. These memories act as the key reference point for the capsule. The full capsule is set to launch alongside an apparel collection at an exclusive pop-up in London on August 25. The collection will also drop at the Footpatrol web store and Paris location.
