LeBron James Debuts the Nike LeBron 16
Rumored to arrive next month.

Earlier this week, fans received a sneak peek at LeBron James‘ forthcoming signature Nike model. Dubbed the LeBron 16, the King himself has just officially debuted his latest court sneaker. Unlike the pair that was shared earlier, the new iteration features a mostly black Battleknit upper accented with red hits throughout. It’s also worth noting the silhouette keeps intact similar design aspects of the 15 including the Zoom Air unit. However a more traditional looking tongue is found in lieu of the 15‘s slip-on look. Additional elements such as a James’ “LJ” crown motif and a lion’s head can be found on the tongue and heel counter, respectively.
Take a peek at the photos above which James shared to his personal Instagram account. The black and university red Nike LeBron 16 is rumored for a September 20 release. Stay tuned for more details.
