The Nike LeBron 16 Gears up for Its Debut

As LeBron James gears up for the upcoming season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Nike is set to release a new signature silhouette for the King.
Courtesy of sneakerhighway23, fans have been given a first look at the forthcoming model. Dubbed the LeBron 16, the latest court model features similar design aspects of the 15 such as the Battleknit upper and Zoom Air unit. Elsewhere, a traditional tongue piece can be found in lieu of the 15’s slip-on look, while a debossed lion face is featured on the heel. A gold “LJ” crown logo and Swoosh finishes off the overall look of James’ upcoming signature shoe. James is expected to showoff the new pair in the upcoming season.
For fans looking to cop a pair, a rumored release date of September 20 has surfaced thanks to Foot Locker. In more footwear releases, Nike’s Air Max 270 gets suited up in “Triple Olive.”
