Watch Cardi B Open the 2018 MTV VMAs

The 2018 MTV VMAs are currently being held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. To kick things off Cardi B, making her first public event appearance since giving birth, took to the stage to welcome the star-studded audience and all the viewers watching from home.
Keeping in her signature comedic style, Cardi B fooled fans by walking on stage pretending to be breastfeeding her new born baby, Kulture. “I am the empress,” she stated on stage. “The liberals voted for me.” She then went on to reveal a Moon Person in lieu of an actual baby. Watch the clip below.
Born in July, Kulture is Cardi B’s first child with Migos star Offset. Cardi B leads the 2018 VMA nominations with 12 awards including Video, Song, and Artist of the Year. Keep it locked here for all the winners and performances of the night.
