Kanye West Gets Four Minutes to Do "As He Pleases" for the 2016 MTV VMAs
Who knows what will transpire…
Kanye West has been allotted four minutes of stage time at this year’s MTV VMAs to do whatever the hell he desires. According to TMZ, producers over at the Viacom-owned network green-lit the time slot, saying that Ye “can rap, sing, dance or even just stay silent … and we’re told show producers are totally clueless which door he’ll pick.” Four minutes is an ample amount of time for the rapper to do a myriad of, well, very Kanye things. You may have remembered last year’s VMAs when Kanye announced his Presidential bid for the 2020 election; and of course, who can forget his notorious interruption of Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech back in 2009?
The 2016 MTV VMAs is slated to air this August 28 from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
