Givenchy artistic director Clare Waight Keller has helped breathe new life into the luxury label in a relatively short time, transforming the brand into one of the year’s hottest. For Fall/Winter 2018, Keller introduces her first menswear sport sneaker, dubbed the JAW. So named for its tooth-like sole, the high top shoe takes cues from track shoes of the ’60s and ’70s along with high-performance ’90s runners, dressing these disparate influences in a monochrome leather and nylon package. A built-in bootie adds extra warmth, while a zipper makes it easy to adjust slip the JAW on and off. Initially dropping in tonal black or white, the shoe will eventually be realized in multiple hues.
