Today, CL releases her highly-anticipated new single titled “LIFTED” accompanied with a music video. “LIFTED” is produced by YG producer Teddy and co-written by Teddy, CL, and Asher Roth. The song contains interpolations of “Method Man”, a song by the legendary ’90’s hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan. The acclaimed video director, Dave Meyers has worked on over 200 music videos and won a Grammy for “Best Music Video” for Missy Elliot’s “Lose Control” as well as a “Video of the Year” VMA for Katy Perry’s “Firework”. Method Man also makes an appearance in the music video for “LIFTED” which was filmed in New York. Watch above.
