M.I.A. Releases Diplo-Produced Version of "Bird Song"
Interscope finally cleared it.
Just one week ago, M.I.A. dropped the Blaqstarr-produced “Bird Song” ahead of next month’s release for AIM. Now the Brit-born Sri Lankan is back with a remix of the track. Slated to appear on the album alongside the Blaqstarr version, the latest take on “Bird Song” features production from longtime collaborator Diplo as he puts a decidedly dancehall-leaning spin on the kazoo-laden cut.
