Week after week, sneaker brands, known and unknown, release new models, colorways, collaborations and retros to continue the stirring of sneaker culture’s melting pot. The competition has risen over the years with the introduction of new technology and the use of celebrity influencers, thus presenting an even larger variety of selections for sneakerheads and casual shoppers alike.

To ease your anxiety, and pockets, our weekly drop list showcases releases from your favorite brands, curating the most hyped sneakers and strongest silhouettes/colorway combinations that should not be missed. Take a look at the list below and let us know what launches you’re looking forward to.

Nike React Element 87

Release Date: August 14
Release Price:  $160 USD, available via select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike SNKRS

The Nike React Element 87‘s latest iterations stray away from the monochromatic “Sail Light Bone” and “Anthracite Black” debut we saw a few months back as “Dark Grey” and “Desert Sand” showcase the revealing construction. Mashups of “Dark Grey/Pure Platinum/Photo Blue” and “Desert Sand/Cool Grey/Smokey Mauve” are mixed together on the model’s translucent TPE yarn upper, complemented by exposed stitching, exterior heel taping and most importantly, the newly-developed drilled React sole and embedded segment rubber outsole.

Air Jordan 3 Flyknit

Nike

Release Date: August 15
Release Price:  $200 USD, available via select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike SNKRS

Unveiled at the Future of Flight event in Los Angeles, the upcoming Air Jordan 3 Flyknit is centered around Nike‘s signature textile material. With a tonal Flyknit upper, the shoe features a detailed look modeled after the mix of smooth and tumbled elephant print leather found on the original. A leather lining, glossy midsole and translucent outsole round out the look of this modernized AJ3

Nike Kobe 1 Protro “All-Star”

Nike

Release Date: August 17
Release Price:  $175 USD, available via select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike SNKRS

The white, black and varsity red iteration makes its first return since the original launch in the mid-2000’s. The Nike Kobe 1 Protro‘s upgraded construction sees white on each lateral side with black placed on the medial panels. Uptempo branding makes its way back onto the heel with Kobe Bryant‘s signature logo found on the tongue.

Nike Zoom Streak Spectrum Plus

Release Date: August 18
Release Price:  $150 USD, available via select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike SNKRS

Supreme and Nike joined forces earlier this year for a collaborative Nike Zoom Streak Spectrum Plus release. Now, the retro model will see a followup release without the skate brand involved. The kicks will be presented in two busycolorway choices of “Melon Tint/Palest Purple” and “Court Purple/Light Poison Green.” The aforementioned colors are seen in the lush graphics that take over the entire shoe. You’ll also find a checkerboard pattern on the inner lining.

adidas Crazy BYW II

adidas

Release Date: August 15
Release Price: $140 USD, available via select adidas retailers and adidas.com

The latest iteration of the heritage-inspired model follows in the footsteps of its predecessors — the Crazy BYW LVL 1 and Crazy BWY X — with a signature “podular” BOOST-equipped sole. The adidas Crazy BYW II’s design details include an exaggerated arch support clip that covers the midsole to the lateral mid-foot area, a sock-like mid-top collar, Three Stripes branding layered beneath a mesh upper, and a branded heel tab. Hits of blue are noticable at the paneling, lace eyelet detailing and sole unit, while icy outsoles keep the design looking clean and sharp.

Pharrell x adidas Solar Hu Tennis V2

Release Date: August 18
Release Price:  $130 USD, available via select adidas retailers and adidas.com

adidas has another collaborative “V2” in the works that doesn’t involve Kanye West, as the Pharrell x adidas Tennis Hu is set to receive an upgrade. The drop adds suede paneling on each lateral and medial side in addition to a leather base around the top four eyelets. The Tennis Hu V2 kicks things off in yellow/grey and red/grey colorway options.

Pharrell x adidas “Solar” Hu NMD

Release Date: August 18
Release Price:  $250 USD, available via select adidas retailers and adidas.com

adidas‘ new Pharrell “Solar” Hu NMD offering shares a trio of three new color schemes. The original NMD receives a trail-inspired outsole that supports Primeknit weaving boasting bold color combinations. Black-on-white patches—inspired by running bibs—are displayed on the front of each pair and feature coordinated slogans like “MOTHER” and “LAND” or “EMPOWER” and “INSPIRE” or the Swahili words “MIELE” (forever) and “MBELE” (forward), all spelled out in alphanumeric text. Each model’s signature TPU lace cage returns to complement its BOOST cushioned midsole.
