After a lengthy hiatus, the second season premiere date for Viz Media’s One-Punch Man has arrived alongside a new trailer. It has been three years since the first season of the popular superhero parody anime arrived, quickly becoming apart of pop culture following its critical acclaim.

The trailer above shows Saitama and his mechanical disciple Genos, alongside a new villain this season named Garou. The official synopsis for the new season reveals “after three years of ‘special training,’ [Saitama's] become so strong that he’s practically invincible.” Alongside Genos, Saitama will begin his official hero duties as a member of the Hero Association.

Check out the trailer above and catch One-Punch Man season 2 in April 2 2019.
