After much anticipation, HBO has officially set the premiere date for the second season of The Last of Us. The Emmy-winning drama will return on April 13, continuing the gripping story of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as they navigate an increasingly treacherous world.

Picking up five years after the events of the first season, Season 2 delves deeper into the emotional and physical toll of survival, forcing Joel and Ellie to confront new dangers, shifting alliances and the weight of their past choices. As their relationship is tested like never before, they become entangled in a harrowing journey of revenge and resilience.

The Last of Us remains in the hands of its original creative team, with Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann returning as writers and executive producers, ensuring a faithful yet expanded adaptation of the beloved video game. Building on the excitement, HBO has also unveiled official Season 2 teaser posters featuring the tagline ”Every Path Has a Price,” hinting at the difficult choices and sacrifices ahead for its central characters.
