Tinashe Tackles Heartache & Breakups on New Track "Like I Used To"

After many months of anticipation and delays, Tinashe finally released her long-awaited JOYRIDE album this past April. Wasting little time, the 25-year-old star is back with a new single for the summer.
Using music as a therapy for breakups and broken hearts, Tinashe poeticizes about lost romance for “Like I Used To.” Some outlets have alleged the song’s themes and narrative center around NBA athlete Ben Simmons and his recent split from Tinashe, and there’s plenty of tabloid fodder in lyrics for today’s record. More importantly, the song finds Tinashe in top form.
