A First Look at TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist.'s SS19 Converse Jack Purcell Collab
Elevated with the Stars & Stripes and zippers.
Hair stylist Takuma Watanabe broke the news of an official TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist. x Converse Jack Purcell sneaker, showcasing the first close-up photos of the collaborative silhouette on Instagram. Keeping in line with the Spring/Summer 2019 collection’s graphic motif, a mismatched Stars & Stripes pattern appears on each sneaker’s upper, in either a full-color or monochrome iteration. Stripes appear on the sides, while stars cover the tongue, stripping the white midsole of the black foxing stripe for a clean look. Furthering the contrasting styles, the left shoe sports a chunky black zipper, with laces threaded through the eyelets vertically, while the left sneaker offers normal closure, albeit with TheSoloist. branded laces.
Expect the collaborative sneakers to launch early next year in line with the new collection.
