Moncler Profits Nearly Doubled in First Half of 2018
The “Genius” collaborations have made a mark.

News that profits grew 20% in the first quarter alone was impressive, but Moncler‘s latest finance report is downright flabbergasting: in merely the first half of 2018, the heritage label’s profits nearly doubled. Thanks to its buzzy Genius program, which includes recent collaborations with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design and Kei Ninomiya and star-studded #MONCLERBEYOND compaign, Moncler has boosted its sales by 47 percent. Currently, the brand has raked in a net profit of roughly €61.6 million EUR (approximately $71.8 million USD) in 2018, compared to 2017’s €41.8 million EUR (approximately $48.7 million USD), with overall sales for the year standing at approximately €493.5 EUR (approximately $575.2 million USD).
With collections from Craig Green, Palm Angels and more launching later this year, the company fortunes are likely to only improve from here on. Stay tuned to see if Moncler is able to muscle its way onto the list of 2018’s hottest brands.
