Directed by David Ayer and starring Brad Pitt, the upcoming film marks a highly anticipated creative reunion for the duo, who previously collaborated on the acclaimed 2014 World War II drama Fury. Shifting away from large-scale military battlefields, this latest venture plunges viewers into an intense, stripped-down narrative focused entirely on human endurance against the cruelest elements of nature.
The narrative follows James Belmont, a retired U.S. Army Special Forces soldier portrayed by Pitt, who finds himself stranded in the brutal Alaskan wilderness following a catastrophic plane crash. His sole companion and partner in survival is Odin, his retired military combat dog.
