Saturdays NYC Looks to the City’s Cultural Communities for Inspiration
The first of a three-part drop.

Saturdays NYC looks ahead to Fall 2018 with an all-new lookbook campaign aimed to showcase a full-on spectrum of seasonal staples. Following up from its South American-inspired Pre-Fall range, the new lineup, instead, looks within its own backyard, choosing to find artful inspirations tucked away deep within NYC’s vast cultural communities. Wares air on the sophisticated side of casual, fusing clean lines with rich tones that keep an eye towards style and substance, all while capturing a color scheme that accurately depicts the city’s rich palette. For instance, “Light Plum,” “Seafoam Green,” and “Cobalt Blue” draws heavily from the streets, signs, and marketplaces found littered all throughout the metro.
With outerwear a key component, the lifestyle label introduces its first-ever down jacket known as the Silas Puffer, this on top of its Calvin Flight Jacket and Ty Double-Breasted Parka, amongst others. Also prominent throughout, is the application of weather-appropriate corduroy, as can be found on the Magnus Heavy cord shirt, Field Heavy cord pant and the Russel cord hat.
Saturdays NYC will launch its Fall 2018 collection in three separate drops, with this first release available online and in-store at all U.S.-based locations on August 2, closely followed by a worldwide release on August 3.
