Kim Jones‘s landmark Spring/Summer 2019 Dior Men presentation effortlessly blended his taste for high fashion and streetwear with precise tailoring elevated by Yoon Ahn’s jewelry, Matthew M. Williams‘s rollercoaster belt buckles and a giant KAWS BFF.
Recently, Yoon gave fans a closer look at the forthcoming jewelry range on Instagram, showcasing key pieces like gleaming alphabet rings that spell out “DIOR,” branded rollercoaster buckles and fuzzy toy critters with buttons for eyes and silver Dior carabiners for easy attachment. Accenting a crocodile leather laptop case is a hefty ring with the reversed “D” logo, while thin gem-encrusted bracelets are stacked up beneath a floral suit sleeve. A photo showcasing the entire pile reveals a diamond-studded bone and bumblebees along with a tall silver “BFF” figure in the same suit and pose as the giant figure seen at the runway show.
