The Goldtree House Brings Nature Indoors
Based in Fremont, Australia.
The latest home to catch our attention is the Goldtree House. Created by Hartree + Associates, the space is based in East Fremantle and the key aim was, according to the architects, to “deliver agile spaces hosting a family celebrating teenage twins.” To do this, they wanted to maximize views of the nearby harbor and add more space by removing the roof and adding another level to the building that’d host the main living space and master bedroom.
The ground level has been designed with the teenagers in mind, ensuring that the spaces weren’t over-designed in order to allow the children to imbue their personality on the building. The ultimate goal of the home is that the spaces can essentially become 2 separate apartments, designed to serve the parents and children respectively. Take a look through the gallery to see the home for yourself.
