Adding to its growing beverage line, Japanese beverage company Suntory recently teamed up with famed outdoor label Snow Peak to reimagine popular notions of energy drinks.

Since the first emergence of energy drinks, the mentally and physically stimulating beverage has carried an air of extremity often associated with chemical and artificial ingredients. Developed in collaboration with Snow Peak, Suntory’s new Southern Alps PEAKER Bitter Energy drink serves as a refreshing natural alternative that revitalizes the body and mind. Served in a fully-recyclable PET bottle, the collaborative energy drink utilizes the organic caffeine found in the guayusa plant and features a carbonated rich spicy ginger taste assisted by hints of hops and grapefruit.

Releasing August 21, exclusively in Japan, look out for imports of the Snow Peak x Suntory Southern Alps PEAKER Bitter Energy drink in the near future.
