Billionaire Boys Club Mixes Varsity & Space Influences With FW18 Lookbook
Referencing a 1970’s NASA project.
Fresh from revealing its Viking-themed collection, Billionaire Boys Club has now followed up with a lookbook for the capsule. Featuring Allan Kingdom and shot by Anton Gottlob, the lookbook focuses on the varsity-theme of the collection and the fictional ‘Vikings” team. The Viking’s name and influence comes from a 1970s space exploration mission from NASA.
The space theme is referenced with the numbers ”75” and “76” as a nod to the launch and landing dates of NASA’s “Viking Project,” as well as the phrase “a shrinking globe in an expanding universe.” Other pieces include a corduroy cut and sew tracksuit, and a London-exclusive jacket produced from contrasting tartan and custom paisley print. The Fall/Winter 2018 collection is available now from the Billionaire Boys Club web store.
