The Weeknd's Upcoming BAPE Collaboration Gets a Closer Look
“BAPE X XO.”
After giving fans a tease via Instagram earlier this month and recently debuting the collection’s lookbook, BAPE has just shared a closer look at its upcoming collaborative effort with Canadian superstar The Weeknd. This marks the first time The Weeknd and his XO label have teamed up with the Japanese streetwear label. Key pieces in the capsule include the graphic-heavy hoodies, bomber jacket, tees, sweatpants and shorts, which all feature “A Bathing Ape” and “Till We Overdose” motifs. The collection is then finished off with a soon-to-be sought after Ape Head rug featuring The Weeknd’s signature “XO” graphic.
The BAPE X XO collection will hit select BAPE retailers such as BAPEXCLUSIVE™ Aoyama, Kyoto, BAPE STORE® DSM Ginza as well as Bape.com and The Weeknd’s website starting this Saturday, August 4.
