The Weeknd Reveals BAPE Collaboration Drop Date & Lookbook
A closer look at the camo-heavy range.
First teased earlier this month, The Weeknd‘s collaborative BAPE collection, which reportedly spent over one year in development, has received an official release date and lookbook. Modeled by NAV, 88 Camino and The Weeknd himself, the lookbook showcases pattern-heavy hoodies, tees, sweatpants and shorts, with a work jacket rounding out the selection of wearables. BAPE’s iconic Shark hoodie sports either a full-camo or half-black and half-camouflage makeup, a motif carried over to the complementary sweatpants. The Weeknd’s XO clothing label branding appears on nearly every piece, often encircled by more camouflage and text that reads “A BATHING APE / TIL WE OVERDOSE.”
Expect the limited edition range to hit BAPE and The Weeknd’s web stores, with the latter offering an exclusive The Weeknd x BAPE XO rug.
Most recently, The Weeknd dropped limited Panorama Festival merch, while BAPE was picked up by Canadian retailer HAVEN.
