The Canyon House Blends Perfectly Into Its Desert Surroundings
Offering idyllic mountain-top views.
HK Associates has created this eye-catching home in Tucson, USA. The Tucson mountains are based to the southwest of the building and a key desire of the home owners was to have these in full view of the space to, in their own words, “live in the view.” To achieve this there’s a floor-to-celiing windows that allow for the home to immerse with its surroundings.
The interior’s usage of wood throughout also blended the space into the similarly colored mountain-top, so this is used on walls and on tables for symmetry. And when the owners want to get closer to the mountain view, there’s an outside patio area. Take a look through the gallery above to see the space for yourself.
In related news, Beverly Hills Mountain is the most expensive property in America, costing $1 billion USD.
