Air Jordan 1 Gets Reimagined With Velcro Straps
Coming in two colorways.
For sneaker purists, changing the Air Jordan 1 is considered sacrilege, but this year witnessed daring reworks of the Jordan Brand icon such as the AJ1 Rebel. Now, a new Air Jordan 1 model emerges with velcro straps.
Offered in all-white and black/white, the Air Jordan 1 High Double Strap keeps the same overall profile of the original silhouette, but replaces the traditional lacing system with wide-set velcro straps. Other design twists include an extended Swoosh and mudguard, while premium leather uppers, perforated toe panels and rubber sole units stay true to the classic blueprint.
The Air Jordan 1 High Double Strap is set to release in the near future at Nike’s web store and select Jordan Brand stockists.
