The Nike SB Nyjah Free Gets a Gum Sole
Every skate shoe needs Gum sole variation.
As the world of fashion continues to follow the skate-inspired trend of chunky and over-designed sneakers, Nyjah Huston‘s Nike SB pro model takes a sleek approach to meet the necessities of a functional skate shoe. Following the initial colorways of the pro-model, the Nike SB Nyjah Free returns in black with a gum sole.
With the foam midsole, the shoe feels broken-in straight out of the box. The “tristar traction” design of the outsole allows for much flexibility, paired with a smooth midsole for consistent flip-tricks. The neoprene sock-liner secures the foot, wrapped in the durable rubber of the upper, which is sandblasted to resemble nubuck-leather. The lateral side of the shoe has a griptape-like swoosh. The Nyjah Free is now available at retailers like Premier, and costs $95 USD.
