Thom Browne’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection takes a trip down the rabbit hole to a contorted Americana wonderland; the set was home to pinwheels, garden gnomes and a multi-colored picket fence.
Looks featured Browne’s trademark quirky suiting and fluctuated between oversized and shrunken proportions à la Alice in Wonderland. Elsewhere, colors appeared in pastels of every variety while patterns came in stripes and checks of every form. The collection challenged notions of classic preppy style, warping those motifs into Browne’s candy-coated vision.
