LOEWE Highlights Craft With Spring/Summer 2019 Campaign

The Spanish label prepares for Paris Fashion Week.

LOEWE gets jump on Paris Fashion Week with the launch of its Spring/Summer 2019 campaign imagery. Under the direction of J.W. Anderson, the Spanish label tapped lauded photographer Steven Meisel to shoot a pair of playful images for its ads; the first showcases model Oscar Kindelan dressed up in homage to Meisel’s younger self, complete with billowy shirt and hippy hairstyle. Actor Josh O’Connor features in the second photo, slouching in a colorful shirt from LOEWE’s new men’s range, accented with eyewear from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection. A third image, shot by Adrien Toubiana and Thomas Cristiani, introduces the house’s iconic Gate handbag in a new micro size, placing LOEWE’s lionized leather craftsmanship on full display.

The Mini Gate launches later this year, while the campaign imagery will go up around Paris starting June 20, just in time for the season’s forthcoming menswear shows.

Most recently, LOEWE honored the work of artist David Wojnarowicz with four charity-supporting T-shirts.
