LOEWE Channels Boyhood for SS19
The infamous “toe shoes” are on full display.

After debuting the collection’s playful campaign imagery, LOEWE takes to Paris to showcase its jubilant Spring/Summer 2019 collection. The range blends boyish whimsy with heritage-influenced design, yielding a line packed with color and playful patterns.
Created in collaboration with Disney, a Dumbo print sets the tone for the rest of the release. Child-friendly themes are at play throughout the collection, with knit shirts and pants creating pajama-like sets, and comfortable striped shirts boasting lighthearted, summery color palates. Woven mules feature tongue-in-cheek toe patterns — akin to a costume — and are complemented by oversized cardigans, comfortable sneakers and fur-trimmed marching band jackets. Corduroy, stone-washed denim, knitwear and soft linen reinforce a lived-in, easygoing motif set in place by oversized shirts and shorts, with rumpled hats and substantial bags ideal for the man-on-the-go. Playful leather accessories — including a yellow giraffe and cases printed with circus animal motifs — round out the goods.
