'Ozark' Gets More Ominous in First-Look Teaser for Season 2
The story of a family who lost everything and a father who had to keep them all together.
Netflix has released the first look at the upcoming season two of Jason Bateman’s Ozark, and it appears to be more ominous than before. Slated to arrive August 31, the 40-second teaser above flashes scenes of the upcoming episodes with narration from Laura Linney’s character Wendy saying “we’ve done lots of things, things we said we would never do.”
As more dark and foreboding imagery surfaces, Bateman’s Marty responds with “people make choices, Wendy, choices have consequences” as the trailer ends with a gunshot. This season will continue to follow the Byrde family as they continue to launder money to repay a debt to a drug cartel.
Check the visuals above and then check out the trailer for Netflix’s upcoming Tau starring Gary Oldman.
